I Need Help Setting up my new System - multiple amps, eclipse headunit, etc

Hey everyone! I need some help in setting up my new system. Right now I'm running two JL Audio 10w0's off a Phoenix Gold ZX475 briged down to 2 channels. I recently decided that I wanted to upgrade my system, so I bought a Memphis Audio 16-st500d mono amp to power the subs, and a new Eclipse AV8132 head unit. So now I'm looking for a little bit of guidance. Should I keep the Phoenix Gold amp and use the 4 channels to power my infinity component speakers? Or should I just power them off the eclipse head unit? If I did decide to keep both amps in, then what would be the best way to get power to them? Would I just buy another amp kit and install it to hook up the new amp? And would I use 8gauge or 4gauge wire? I was also thinking that while I'm wiring all this new stuff up that I'd throw in some sound deadening material comparable to dynamat to give it the added edge. I know that my audio equipment isn't the highest end, but it's not the lowest either, and I just want it to sound the very best that it possibly can. You should keep the amp to power your component speakers(what are the specs on that amp, you dont want to way overpower your components). To power both you could either buy a second amp kit, or get a distro block for the wires. I'm not sure of the specs on the amps, but if its not too big you could get 4ga or 2ga splitting into 2 8ga, or 2ga splitting into 2 4ga.

Look into second skin (http://www.secondskinaudio.com) forum members get a discount there. Though now its a discount off the B-stock or something.

What type of box are your subs in, we could help you there too if you need it.

hey, thanks for the reply. yeah, the phoenix gold amp is 75 watt X 4 channels, so its around 300 watts rms. the new memphis is 500 watts rms, but i wont be powering either of these to their full potential. so what would be the best way to wire power to these?

as for my sub box, its actually one of the mtx thunderforms. it goes underneath the back seat in my truck. since i have a truck, space is pretty limited.
