Hey everyone! I need some help in setting up my new system. Right now I'm running two JL Audio 10w0's off a Phoenix Gold ZX475 briged down to 2 channels. I recently decided that I wanted to upgrade my system, so I bought a Memphis Audio 16-st500d mono amp to power the subs, and a new Eclipse AV8132 head unit. So now I'm looking for a little bit of guidance. Should I keep the Phoenix Gold amp and use the 4 channels to power my infinity component speakers? Or should I just power them off the eclipse head unit? If I did decide to keep both amps in, then what would be the best way to get power to them? Would I just buy another amp kit and install it to hook up the new amp? And would I use 8gauge or 4gauge wire? I was also thinking that while I'm wiring all this new stuff up that I'd throw in some sound deadening material comparable to dynamat to give it the added edge. I know that my audio equipment isn't the highest end, but it's not the lowest either, and I just want it to sound the very best that it possibly can. Thanks so much in advance for any and all help and consideration.
