but im not wrong. look they paid $30 originally. 30/3= 10. they were refunded $3 dollars not $5 because they only were givin $3. 2 of the five was kept by the bell hop. that means they spend $9 per person including the tip. 9x3=27. there is no need to add $2 because it is included in that $9. the missing 3 dollars is what they were refunded

That is the exact same fucking thing I said. The only difference is I explained how it would work if they received the full $5 back and then had to divvy it up for the tip.
