I need Car Audio direction....

Back in the day, I used to be HEAVY into car stereo installations, even though I could never afford any real system in my car. I used to marvel at the builds inside of the "Car Audio And electronics" magazine every month. and I would always read the technical aspects, as well as the comparison articles.

As things moved from paper to digital, CA&E no longer exists, and it seems like Comparison articles/discussions aren't as prevalent anymore, and neither are the technical talks. am I missing something?

I have a feeling that I'm just not shaking the right tree. I need to get the one that is going to drop fruit, but I'm at a loss. I've been subscribed on this forum for a while, and while I feel that I'm almost there, I'm still at a loss.

so guys, if you can. is there any way you can direct me to what I need to look for?

Like things like articles saying when I should look for Mid-bass speakers instead of mid-range. is it necessary to use a center-channel speaker? When or if to use a capacitor any more? fuse blocks? all of this..

Pas mag is still around. But installs like that are rare now. Power is to cheap and the Internet makes stuff way to available.
