i need box help

[bass maniak 10+ year member]

i am putting 3 10 inch subs(mtx thunder6000 12 ohm) in my 66 impala in the rear deck

and i need help to figure out what type of box to use. i was thinking of making 3 sealed box's with .8-1 feet of volume but i am not sure if it is the best type of box 2 use in this situation.

Your gonna put the subs in your rear deck?? Awsome....go with sealed. You could make one box with 3 separate chambers but I dont know which one is easier for you.

If you have the space and I believe you may I say build one enclosure to attach to the underside of he rear deck and separate each sub. You can leave it open between all three of them, but only if you have them all wired properly and the amp bridged to them so it is mono and not stereo.
