I need a sub to pair to my T1000-1bd

I know most of you guys don't like RF but it's a pretty good amp. Right now I have an Kicker L7 12 on it but this sub is too muddy for me. I want something with heart throbbing bass but some SQ to it. What do you guys/gals suggest? Thanks.

A 2512sc would be a good choice...

I take it that amp is 1k @ 1ohm??

(Sorry, that would be a DD 2512....)

IMO, a DD 2512SC will be a very good choice!!

What kid of "sound" are you looking for?

IMO(for me any who) I would go with 2.2 cuft, 38" of port tuned to 36hz using a 2512...

My seats don't fold down. I'm looking for a nice hard bass but clean. My L7 hits hard but lacks SQ. I went to the DD site and only see 2512b is this the same sub as sc?

Yes...

The "SC" or super charged is an option.....IMO I recommend this.....

It adds a few shorting rings to add to the motor force.

As far as power, the 2512 should take what you have all day, any day...just set your gains correctly.

i have a ascendant arsenal 15 ,ascendant ,makes fi ,and the xcon's and dcons,but is the better line out of all of them.a 15 is all you need in your trunk.

OMG I just changed my amp model number....lol...had the wrong one. I have the 1500 not the 1000....^^^^ so you're suggesting the ascendant mayhem 15"? How much trunk space will I loose?
