1500 has a stamped basket.

If there was better pics of the frame/motor it would be easier to tell.

That is a very small motor.

its a 2500 series the motor is bout same diameter as the spiders used and they are 7". the 3500 and 9500 have much larger motors with thicker top plates and the 1500 has a stamped steel basket...

I'm thinking this is either a 1000 series , or one of the first gen 2500 series (could have been a prototype), i can tell you it is pre - 2007

That sub is an older model 2500 series. The RMS and other attributes are very similar to the older models. It will give you an idea of what it is.

Yep, just found some old paper work, it is a 2500 series, DD rated it at 600 - 1200 wrms, and you could have bought it new in 05 for less than $200,
