I need a Ported box, what do i do now?

He told me 1.5 in an email, but i don't really care how big it is as long as it will fit in my rear hatch area. Bigger is better i guess. The small sealed prefab isn't cutting it at all, the 1200 watt sub sounds like a 200 watt sub right now, no good.

Do you guys just think i flat out bought the wrong subwoofer in my case? I bought it with intentions of running it hard everyday with 1200 watts rms and listening to mostly rap and techno, some rock.

Watts are overrated. More watts doesn't' always compute to more spl. Your sub needs less power and maybe it'll hit harder.

So wouldn't just turning down the gain achieve less power?

its NOT a 1200w sub. its just some pple are putting 1200w into small sealed enclosures
