I looked at the Sony TX-7 ( i believe thats the model #.. And it was awesome.. The Video PQ is amazing but you are somewhat limited when you go full 1080 @ 60 fps because it is in a different codec ( AVCHD ) But even 1080i @ 30 fps looks just as good as your standard satellite or cable HD.. He told me to wait because more than likely in the next month or so It will go on sale for $349, ( from $399 ) .. Touchscreen is awesome as well, No lag, very smooth and easy to navigate ..I'm quite amazed at the fact you can get that kind of quality from a P@S. How is the sound? Lets say you are front stage at a rock concert and try to take some 1080 vids....Are you going to be able to hear the band, or the crowd?
Well I need a new camera anyways , but I want something that I can use to analyze my golf and bowling swing.. For both sports I plan on taking a bunch of video from different angles then viewing them on the computer in slow motion.. I know Actual video cameras are better and nowadays not much more expensive than a digital camera but I still cant just throw one in my pocket ..
So what is needed for me to be able to take a Hi quality video ? Is it FPS, a certain zoom, I really dont know,..
Oh and Im trying to keep the cost under 300, Unless there is something that really is leaps and bounds above the rest of the pack.. Heres one I was looking at, but dont know what alot of the specs mean
