i need a better way to mount my amp.

due to space, it HAS to be mounted on the box, but i can hear it vibrating really bad. Right now it is mounted on top of rubber washers, with another one in between the screw head and the amp. im thinking of placing a piece of dynamat underneath it, would this work? any other ideas?

worked for me because my amps back panel was vibrating. first thing is to find out whats vibrating in your amp. is it the internals or the panel?

im not sure, i have a feeling it is the panel underneath it, i figured that if it was something inside rattling that bad, it would have stopped working by now.

mah shit was rattling bad, had an MCD-500 on bare mdf, i put a pice of carpet underneithe it and it stopped

Go to a hardware store and buy the blue foam insulation. Then cut out a size exactly the size of your amp, then mount the amp to it.

It has worked for me in the past.

i double some carpet under a box if it has to be mounted onto a box

Rubber grommets where each of the screws go in. They provide a cushion and allow more air around the amp for better cooling.

just get some soft foam crap. like 1\4" thick and put it under there. should work fine.
