so the saz would run 2 15 mags. id rather be safe than sorry. my ideal setup is 2 15 mag d2 in around 2.5 per chamber sealed enclosure per sub. im looking for a good sq setup that will still play loud but more sq. with the saz at .5 ohm on 2 15 will it clip. im still pretty new to car audio so i dont know. right now im planning on selling my nine 1 so i put in my jl 500/1 to power my 2 kicker 15compvr dual 2ohm. it can almost get as loud but it sounds like horse shat doing it. i had ny nine1 at .5 ohm until it fried. im worried about that too. keep in mind im looking for accurate clean bass so could the 1saz do it. id rather spend more money once than more money fixing a problem. right now im planning my future system so i dont have to spend any more $ than i already have. hopefully will be bumpin loud in the near future thanks

Any amplifier will clip if pushed hard enough. A single SAZ-1500D @ 0.5 ohms would be putting out a tremendous amount of output before clipping. It certainly will not fry itself @ 0.5 ohms, it's been tested extensively at that load for LONG durations of play time. Although, it would be possible to clip them on a pair of 15" Mags since they will handle more power than a single 1500D is capable of a 0.5 ohms.

If you really wanted to have a huge amount of headroom a pair of them would be a better option for you, the Mags can use the extra power for dynamics. And again, since your budget fits a pair there is no reason to skimp here when you could get more output and headroom from a pair.
