I Made My Mind, But Have One More Question About Hifonics and Re Audio. HELP!!!

Well, i decided!!! I'm getting 2- 12" 4ohm Re Audio SE's to go along with my Hifonics BXI1608D Amp. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

My amp is 1ohm stable so i can get 1600 watts rms out of it @ 1ohm. The subs I am going to get ( SE's) can be wired down to a 1ohm load which would draw 1200 watts rms.

I know they say Hifonics amps are a bit over rated so I should be fine, but I like to make sure I'm doing it right.

a buddy locally is doing a single re se 15 dual 2 with a power 1000bd or whatever it is

kool thanks alot man. I should of said that my subs together will use 1200 watts rms combined from my amp which is 1600 watts rms.

bigger amp.... i had a hifonics bxi series... i hated it didnt move my Q at all and then it ****ed up and i sent it back under warranty for store credit

you should be fine with the 1608 you will the 1200 RMS you want. but if ya got the money why not. i have a hifonics 2008d and like it so far.

Would that extra amount of watts be too much for those subs? C n that the BXI1608D is already 1600 watts rms? I would be running 2000Watts rms and would only need 1200 watts rms.... I'm just not trying to screw sh** up. You Know?

im gettin that same setup.

RE SEs with a Bxi2008D amp.

it puts out 1300W RMS @ 2 ohms

and 2000W RMS @ 1 ohm

since they are 4 ohm subs, how can u wire them. i have never owned DVC coils. but i will be researchin before they come in.
