i installed my headunit... but its not working!!!

.75 v means you have a blown fuse in the car.
Also the diversity antenna has nothing to do with the unit turning on. You wont get any fm reception without it but it will not affect actual powering of the unit.
It does on older Nissans. My 01 Maxima wouldnt power on the radio until the Diversity adapter was in. I believe there is a floating ground in the cable.

I have installed radios in probably hundreds of Nissans and have never encountered that problem. The headunit is still grounded so I do not see how that would make any difference. :shrugs:

 
I have had it happen with my Eclipse decks where I needed to remove the harness from the deck and re-insert it for the unit to function. I have no idea why they did that but it worked.

 
well, my fm adapter, knu wires, and jl sub are all coming thursday... i'll check to make sure my headunit works with the fm adapter attached. but if it doesn't, should this be my diagnostic approach?:

1. re-ground headunit.

2. if that fails, hard-wire 12v constant and acc to battery.
