Well i wasnt paying attention when i was wiring my amp. I accidently put the power in the ground input and the ground into the 12v input. Luckily i was holding it as it sparked and was able to pull it out very quickly. The amp still works fine. But could have anything got burnt inside? I would hate to have already damaged my new amp.

lol....yea ya mite want to watch that next time lol...

but if nothing blew (fuse, amp) etc and you said it is still working then it sounds like you should be aight!

I would just keep an eye on it. If you unhooked quickly and it works fine, it should be ok.
yea that is the best you can do....but the way it sounds he just touched it for a sec and then he pulled away?? correct?

cause if that is all you did then it should be ok...but i would def watch it!that is bout all you can do....

did the same thing and i had 3 80 amp fuses blow on me before i realized my mistake lol..... i was thinking "no way i wired them up backwards"

i did. btw my amp is fine and has been running strong for months now //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Holy crap. I cant believe how many people dont pay attention when hooking shit up. If you arent going to pay attention at least dont have the 12v live and then double check all connections before fusing.

How many of you work at best buy/circuit city? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

i actually do work at best buy .. but only reason i hooked up the connections wrong was because i was talking to a co-worker about working in the install bay. When i was talking to him i just blanked out on the connections ..

the zx2500s have no internal fusing //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

your supposed to put a 250-300a fuse right before the amp, read manual...
