Hey everyone! I'm new here. I've got a single Sony XPLOD 12 inch 1200w (350w RMS) subwoofer that I want to put in my car. I'm looking at the Sound Storm Laboratories F4.400 amplifier. Will this be enough power for my Sony XPLOD subwoofer? If not, what would you recommend?!

Thanks in advance, Jordan

You're not seriously trolling him are you?.......
No I don't feel like trolling outside the dome. I'm just trying to help the guy out within his price range. Yes, AP isn't the greatest, but if he's looking at SoundStorm he doesn't have a huge budget. Just trying to match what he needs with what he can afford.

I'm really not sure. Would it work though? Is the total wattage distributed evenly? Like if I only use one of the channels, are the 400w directed to just that one? And if I only used 2 channels, they'd be rated at 200w a piece?

Sorry for the newbie questions, I honestly am clueless when it comes to this.

Low Pass Filter:40hz - 180HZ

Subsonic Filter: 5 - 50Hz

600 x 1 RMS @ 2 Ohms

1000 x 1 RMS @ 1 Ohms

What about the 4 Ohms wattage rating?

That would work. Your sub is 4ohm, correct?
