He could also look at a Boston GT2125. They're 110 on Sonic and will definitely be an improvement over both the AP and SoundStorm...

Xplods always came single 4 ohm

and I never said i was going to be semi loud using an apsm 1500 ha

I'm gonna get a quality 3.5k to 4k amp. My apsm was just a temp amp so I could have a little bass, but for the price it's done me well..

There are a lot of budget amps that do well. People keep telling me my Hifonics is shit. But I would recommend that amp to anyone on a budget. It has done AMAZING for me...
