ok i have a situation, i can get one of these setups, olny 1, but idk which one is better so can you tell me?

Setup 1: Hifonics Olympus 15", Soundstorm 5000w amp @1 ohm, Pioneer deck OR

Setup 2: Kicker 15" sub, hifonics brutus 2000w amp @ 2ohms, pioneer deck.

both will prob have ported boxes, so which one is a better setup? and i wanna do as little to the car as possible like no new batteries or alternators. First of all no capacitor. Get an audio battery and put it back next to the amp. (the size depends on the amp).

Then look up the "The big 3" thats just upgrading your power from alternator, adding another good ground etc.

That 5000watt Soundstorm is more like 800watts if that. Set up 2 I guess. Alto I am sure Kicker makes more than 1 15 lol

what kind of charging system/car do you have?

capacitors ****, do not get one, get a kinetik/optima yellow batt and do the big 3

depending on your budget, you might be able to get much better equipment so let us know your budget

you are gonna run 2-5Kw of bass without any mids/highs?

Soundstorm is a flea market brand that plays on the Soundstream name. When I tell people I have Soundstream they say its all junk and they can get the amps for like $50. I lol at them.

ok i think im gonna roll with the kicker setup. its an 15" kicker l7, dual-2ohm, and a hifonics 2000watt mono-channel amp.

im gonna get a 15" Kicker L7 Duel 2-Ohm, Groundshaker Ported box, Hifonics Brutus 2000-watt amp, And Pioneer Deck. All can be found @ onlinecarstereo.com If you guys see anything that i should get/improve tell my, it will be in a toyota 4runner so i have a lot of room, and my spending limit is about $800, so if you think you can get a batter setup TELL ME
