I have Brain Damage from Car Audio

Hey guys, srry for the late replies.

I am told I should not wear ear plugs, because it increase hyper sensitivity, because my ear will try to reach out even more to hear sounds.

Yes, the doctor said that the damage i got was from loud acoustical sounds.

I would like to point out i am getting better day by day since I stopped listening to music. SOmetimes when i drive i am SO tempted to turn on the radio. I just miss the bass. I feel like I can't live my dream atm. Because in my dream car is my dream system.

Open road,

4 id-q 12's sealed in 4 cu feet sealed. DlS iridiums.. in kick panels and rear.... But i haven't heard ONE song in 2 months now. I lost one of my passions, something I am very good at as well. People still come to me when they want a car system.

i dont listen to mine very loud cause i want to enjoy my other hobby....

You said you felt the change in your right ear? So is that where the hypersensitivity is or is the problem in both ears? Im nothing close to an expert in this area, but I highly doubt both eardrums would be damaged at the exact same second. I'm sure one of them would go first.... If both of your ears are suffering the hypersensitivity then I would guess it isn't from the music.

Its only my right ear that has the serious damage

If only your right ear has damage then can't you still listen to music with 1 earbud in your left ear? Its obviously not going to be the same, but its better than never listening to music again. If your right ear is still so bad that you can't even talk to people or live a normal life, you might see about getting surgery or somehow becoming completely deaf in that ear. It might sound extreme but at least you could talk to people..
