I have an Interview for a Car Audio shop

im 4.5 year's into this career, biggest thing beyond the interview. it's all in the install. do it right dont cut corners. be confident in you're work. the best thing is that you love to do it... so you wont get board with it just show that enthuseyazum ( **** that word!)

good luck bru! if you wanna make the drive down here im gunna need a extra for remote start seson.

wish i could do that drive everyday

So your starting to install remote starts at your shop?

Maybe ill stop by and get one if i don't get hired at sight and sound

Okay I dont count. I'm not a "real" installer as most would say. I just got a job down here at Best Buy and from the first couple of weeks I will tell you, they're right. Learning to do it "their" way and learning how to tear cars apart without breaking them are the two hardest parts of it.

Go in, relax, like they said dont oversell yourself, be honest. Let them how strongly you feel about it.

DONT GET NERVOUS

It wouldnt hurt to get some pics of your install work. I got ****ed out of an install job cuz I told the people I used to make money from buying car audio equipment cheap and then reselling it for a higher price. The ***** said ohhh I bet you could use our employee discount to your advantage then. Needless to say I didnt get that job. Just think through your answers before you reply, dont just start spewing b/s cuz it will catch up to you in the end. It is better to appear that you know nothing than to try to convince them you know it all.

well i knew a few guys at my local shops, i knew the owner, and won the competitions this year, so it kinda worked out

best job ive had, im doing sales and installs, but both are fun, most the people i know that work at install shops around here are pretty cool, weve done a few things for fun //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/up2something.gif.dd110ecf3ae4b76050d87598f2f8de7c.gif

and its cool working with people that actually know what they are doing... and the shop has a big table saw FTW //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
