ok heres the deal..i THOUGHT my alternator shit on me yesterday...since the battery light came on and stayed on...and drove to work today it was still on not charging at all...go on break at work and the lights not on but heres the weird part...when im idling its at 12.4/12.8

when im on the gas its at 14.3/14.4...

any clues ont his problem? fault in the wiring somewhere???

Go to Autozone and have your battery tested.

trust me, my batteries aren't dead...2 3 week old kinetik 2400's...i think they're fine...lol..i still say its the alternator at fault...

Just to rule them out you should have them checked. A short could kill the battery in no time. Take a couple minutes have them checked....if they come out good check your voltage-regulator on your alternator. Which Autozone can also check.

dood. im not an idiot here. i have no shorts in my system. im not a noobx installer.

btw problem fixed. turns out my EA alternator really did shit on me for a SECOND time. put the stock one back in. up and charging at 14.7v....compared the 14.3 the EA did...so a long story short...Stock alternator > EA.
