ur going to need 2 amps for each 4 u cant put all 8 on 1 amp the impedence is too low

It's not all about how much money is spent. I can spend half as much as you and get twice as loud. A termlab gives us concrete evidence of who's louder so we're not just rolling up next to each other and taking guesses as to who is louder based on our ears because audibly, it can be extremely difficult to distinguish the louder car. Well we already know you have some electrical work to do, how bout some sound deadener? Any plans for that in the future?

Yeah well I'm tryin to hear loud but maybe I got the wrong car I guess. Ima make it work it might not be as loud as I'm hopeing but ill just tear it all out and start from scratch if I'm not happy.

I think you need to press pause for a minute and start reading. There's tons of info on here that can help you achieve your goals. If you just want to look cool, then go for it. If you want to put people in awe, you need to learn much more. I'll be running a single 15" soon and I'll be louder than anyone near me. I plan to pick up a beater for next winter and I plan on 2 8"s in that and once again I'll still be the loudest near me. What's more impressive, 2 8"s getting loud, or 8 12"s?

Your defiantly right on me needed more knowledge on the subject but I'm one of those do it yourself and there's nobody around here to teach me so I learn as I go. So do you think I should get ride of them a run 1 or 2 monsters? Could I still achieve loudness with a ported box in a trunk?

I would sell everything you got to someone who doesnt know much and try to pull as much money. After that search around on here about different sub choices people are going with and get a good amp to pair them too. If you've always ran sealed you will be amazed at what ported can do. I, like you, didnt know much at first and went ahead with this idea of this 18 and ported. Its atleast twice as loud as any pair of 12's I've ran sealed. I'm so happy with my upgrade I really cacnt explain it.

I'd go with 2 15's if you can get a ported box to fit. It'll probably be really close, and as I said before, might have to build it in the car. To you these will probably be "retarded loud"

It'll get loud trust me and no not retarded as in "a dumb idea" but retarded as in pretty damn loud. And ram can design you a nice box and help you out with all the specifics if you shoot him a little pay pal gift. My setup is sub up port back, but thats in an suv.
