yeaa im gettin upgrading from my bose system too, what car you have im looking for replacement front door speakers unsure what would fit, i have a 94 infiniti j30

For 500 bucks..... cdt cl4x (4" coaxials) and cl6x (6" coaxials) are ~$40 each from djdilliodon (pm him) and for comps the cdt cl6cv (i think) are $155 from djdilliodon. That will give you about $250 to spend on an amp too.

Bose= tons more unessary work, I did an 88 accord last week with a Bose system, normally those cars take less then an hour to change all 4 speakers and the deck but NOOOOO i had to run new wire to every speaker and modify those stoopid baskets in the front that only had 3.5's //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wacky.gif.cf4a48f9e6dfe9504ffd2c946fd2f340.gif to fit 6.5's, and luckily the rear 6x9's came out easily though, and let me tell you that Bose system sounded like gay hell, no high what so ever just crappy bass and muffled mid's plus 90% of the sound came from the back which is 100% wrong, those Bose guys are idiots when it comes to car audio sometimes
