I can't make up my mind, Help!!!!

For the last 2 weeks I have been trying to decide between 1 avalanche 15" or 2 2005 12" alpine type r. I am looking for sql and listen to rap, r and b and sometimes rock. From what I have been reading the avalanche will get lower than the alpines but the alpines will be louder. If I mostly listen the rap and r and b, then are the 2 twelves better for me considering most rap is between 30hrzs and 40hrzs. If that is the case than I dont need to go as low as as the avalanche. I will be in a trunk and I will be puting it in a box tuned to 30 to 35 hrzs. the alpines will be in a 3.5 cu ft box, while the in a 3.0. I would just like some opinions on this to help with my purchase. BTW the alpines are$30 cheaper but have no warrenty and are on ebay.

Me, I'd do the Alpines, but try to find an authorized outlet...you never know when you might need a warranty....hope you never do, but in case...

Most rap is not that low, most bass lines are around 50-60hz I would say..
