I just ordered 2 of these for a friend's 87 lincoln, i was thinking about giving

each sub 2.3 cu ft^3 NET to play with after port displacement tuned to 29 hz

on the pioneer site it says its not recommended for a ported enclosure...

do you think it will sound bad or i'll hurt it?

I HAVE to know before i start building the box.... thoughts plz

I can't find the theil/small parameters but here is a couple of enclosure calculators to help you build the best possible sounding box.

Just get the specs for the subs and input the numbers for recommendations.

I sure wouldn't run them ported if it says that.
