AMP: 250 rms x2 @ 4 ohms

SUBS: (2x) Pionner TS-W306C

the subs handle 400 rms at 4 ohms, do you think it will sound alright only drinking

250? I'm also going to build him a box tuned to 28 hz with 2 cu ft^3 for each sub.

this is a low budget system for a friend, he only has $70 per sub shipped

is there any better subs i can get for $70 shipped?

'04 model Type R's, could probably find them for around that price.

Or Shivas, for a little more money.

the nice thing about the memphis is that if you're friend wants to upgrade the amp later they can handle much more than 250 rms.

nah...but seriously now you need to looks at what the sub manufacturers say is a good box!!!
