I can't figure for the life of me why my system isn't bumping

So I need a bigger alt or what
whoa whoa playa. Alternator is the last thing you wanna do. Yes your electric seems horrible with the drops but like I said I would get a new fuse holder and fuse, then go from there. But don't do anything until you switch Amps, and check your epectric. But if and only of it's your electric get a new better upfront battery...

no sound at all?? how you have it wired? i would LOL if it was a stupid thing like one of the speaker wires came out or something...
Nope, I mounted my sub last night and the wires are in the sub I'm sure of it. All I did was set the sub down into the hole of the box after wiring it...

And no, no bass at all except the crappy bass coming from my rear and door speakers.

it could just be your battery...i dont see you drawing that much current that you would have to upgrade your alt? just that one amp and a w7?
i have a battery in my hood/trunk 4 12"s off 2 500.1's and im running off a stock alt..
Yeah just the one amp and my one sub.

Alright I'll do all of the above. And I should probably do the big 3 even if I do get a new battery right? It would probably be best.

^^^upgrade your fuse..test your battery..check your rca cables

yes do the big 3..not going to hurt only help

is there a setting on your h/u to turn off subwoofer seen this before..

Update: Hooked up older Alpine amp and it works to the best of it's abilities and gives me the most bass it can. Alpines are nice amps...

So my new AQ is crap, I'm guessing. I'm surely going with Alpine for my next amp haha.

This may have been said before but I didn't want to read 4 pages..

I saw that you have one 12w7, aren't they SVC 3 ohm coils? With imp rise you're probably over 4 ohms and voltage drop, you might not even be getting 510 @ 4 ohms.

dude just listen to everyone.

If you haven't, change your fuses first. If you havent done that, then you may never locate the problem cause that could be it...

Next, if you think you have a dead amp, contact AQ... i have a 1200D and trust me, its no crap amp... coming from a Hifonics i noticed much cleaner power and my sub just working better, and the AQ runs cooler. But the guys at AQ are pretty cool, so give them a call if you can't find anything.

And for big 3, i had some voltage drop with my system, then i got an optima yellow top and big 3 in 0/1 gauge, works PERFECT now

If the amp is turning on, but is not moving AT ALL, i suspect either output from the deck (rca's not hooked up on one side or the other) or you've wired the coils out of phase with eachother. If you touch the cone lightly with some power going to your system, do you feel ANY vibration at all? A 30amp fuse where you need a 120 isn't going to cause any problems UNTIL you actually turn your **** up loudly, where it needs the current - then the fuse will blow. In this case, the amp is on, with zero output. The problem isn't the fuse. It's a signal problem from the HU to the amp, or it's a problem with the way you've wired the sub to the amp. How are the voice coils wired?
