I can't figure for the life of me why my system isn't bumping

is there any sound coming from the sub at all? i just got a 1200d and its my first amp with a master/slave switch. Set it to input slave. being a computer guy i thought it needed to be on master but try switching it to slave, and ya you need a 150amp fuse
You have it backwards it should be set on master not slave.

im thinking in your situation its your install... who did it? I would upgrade that fuse and i bet you probably running like 8ga power wire.. Thats not your prob but i think you should look into that.. what type of enclosure is your sub in?? also how were the gains set when your AQ was installed??
Well when I first got the car it already had power wires ran and it's 4g. My sub is in a ported enclosure and there is NO sound from it at all. the fuse up front by my battery is a 60a. Is that too small too? I'm going to try switching to the other amp in a little bit.

The guy at Best Buy told me to hook my ipod or something up to the rca wires and see if they work from the ipod? But I would need a connector piece.

And I've played with the gains and everything and still nothing. I'll probably need a new alt. and I hooked up the amps and subs and that's about it. It all worked with my Alpine amp so I'll switch back to that and see if that's the case still

I can't figure out for the life of me why people come on here and expect us to already know what they have.
Post specs or gtfo.

Ok he posted what he has and now u don't give him any hlep. What was the point of posting that when your not gonna reply back. Was it to seemcool being a di ck or to get ur count up.

your suppose to have a fuse next to your battery. But check your fuse holder and your fuse. Your amp will come on(hence the green light) with only a small current but want push unless it gets enough voltage to push the subs. Switch out the amps with your pervious one, and get a new fuse holder and upgrade your fuse.

Alright thanks man. I have a fuse within like 8 inches of my battery and it's a 60a.

I'll hook up the other amp to see if that works and get a bigger fuse for out back.

when you had the alpine amp hooked up would you get bad volatge drops??
EDIT: ALWAYS put a fuse within 18" of your battery
Sometimes at higher volumes the headunit would turn off then come back on then turn off then come back on etc etc until i turned the volume down. I don't know what that means tho.
