Alright thanks man. I have a fuse within like 8 inches of my battery and it's a 60a.your suppose to have a fuse next to your battery. But check your fuse holder and your fuse. Your amp will come on(hence the green light) with only a small current but want push unless it gets enough voltage to push the subs. Switch out the amps with your pervious one, and get a new fuse holder and upgrade your fuse.
Sometimes at higher volumes the headunit would turn off then come back on then turn off then come back on etc etc until i turned the volume down. I don't know what that means tho.when you had the alpine amp hooked up would you get bad volatge drops??
EDIT: ALWAYS put a fuse within 18" of your battery

Thanks for the input but I really wanna try and do this myself because I wanna know how to do this stuff in the future. I'm pretty sure it's the amp somehow.not tryn to be a dick but i think you should have someone instal that for you.
get a dmm test your battery if it is fine try the "big 3" if that doesnt work cheapest bet might be buy a red top for under the hood? or upgrade your altSo I need a bigger alt or what
I think I'll have to do the "Big 3" or at least want to do it before spending some* serious money on an alt.get a dmm test your battery if it is fine try the "big 3" if that doesnt work cheapest bet might be buy a red top for under the hood? or upgrade your alt
