Of course not. I think it was "world war z", can't really remember, but the quote went something like only the useful are being saved, so I suggest you find yourself useful. I know I butchered that all to hell, but thats the gist.
i get it, but that begs the definition of 'useful', and just whom defines it. this leads me on a tangent,..
my takeaway from this proposal is that it is most likely veiling something much more simplistic, yet more sinister. im a 'hope for the best and expect the worst' kind of doom-and-gloom individual, but there are many things we can correlate to such an endeavor that many people may wish not to consider out of cognitive dissonance.
most of the earth's population are slaves in some form or another, and quite a few are starting to realize it.
debt, wealth, religion, governance,... all having a pinnacle of fear attached; slavery in the form of devices of thought control over the populace used for millennia for the masters to maintain dominance in attaining their bidding.... and those at the upper echelon have been doing everything to not lose said control as they have begun to find revolution is afoot among the plebs.
documentation of world population control has been in the works since the 1960's... in the 70's came the kissenger report stating in gist that in order to sustain humanity with the earthly resources at disposal, a world population must not exceed 500 million, with the u.s. at the helm and all the resource to their gain. this report was declassified in 1990.
taking just this one report into account opens up a plethora of speculation concerning the true intentional goal of those making such decisions,... and thus, provides inquiry as to how that can be accomplished.
human kind is a pretty resilient, and highly adaptive animal species. it's my belief that the following have been enacted for culling purposes.
endless war
famine
man made viruses
weather manipulation
birth control/abortion (same f'n thing in result)
now, these are just my thoughts on the entire situation, but that does not mean they are not shared with like-minded individuals.
just what could become of this world, let alone, human kind if we were mandated to colonize a very minute portion of humans elsewhere among the galaxy/universe?
those safe in their castles among the stars could have just enough slaves they selected to form a new society after laying decimation to those remaining among this rock, which will be just that much easier to do if they're not exposed to such.
metaphorically speaking,.. the way i see it, they want to jump ship with a pinhole leak in the hull, make the hole bigger, take the limited-seating lifeboat to the nearest island to watch the ship sink with the crew aboard, only to return later and salvage the booty in the cargo hold.
