Sounds good i would probably go with the bostons over cdt not worth the extra money. Make the box like cardomain not the premade one its probably isnt the best.

Also, im not to good in understanding active vs passive. Will either of those comps be able to be active? also since they are both 2 way I think, that means they are just mid-bass and a tweet right? If it was 3 way it would have a high-mid-low right?

Any pre-built passive set can be run active, just take out the passive crossover and run each midbass/tweeter directly off of an amp...you'd need four channels to do it, and some sort of crossover whether built in to the head unit or an external unit.

Yes.

I don't see any sound deadening on your list. A few rolls is mandatory, IMO...

if you were going to go active i would ditch the bostons and make your own components set-up. Do a little searching on active set-ups youll see a lot of different things and go to to http://www.partsexpress.com a bunch of stuff there.

Whys that? I thought rockford is pretty **** good for amps. Also ill be going with passive crossovers and maybe change it later on down the road.

rockford was the shit back in the day but now there is tons of other amp out there

Its not bad but if you are running fronts passive you will be bridging a 4 channel amp for no reason. If you are goin active you may want something with a lil bit more power. If you want to stay with something with a the same power and such you could go with something like this
