i just got termlabed on my new system and hit 144.3 with out really tuning my amp and pushing my subs to hard. 06 chevy trailblazer, alpine cda-105 head unit, type r components in the front, type r coaxials in the back, blue top marine battery in front with 1/0 big 3 upgrade, kinetic 800 in the back, hifonics brutus bxi 2010d pushing 3 12 inch kicker cvx in a sealed box 3 cu ft run at 1/3 of an ohm. any thoughts

I've had good luck running Hifonics amps at low impedance too.

yes, 3 dual 2 ohm subs wired parralel/parralel, amp has never gone into protection, it gets a little hot but not bad

not a fan of running things that low with mostly stock electrical...bad things will happen most likely

as soon as i saw "hows my system" i was like hmm bet the guy has a hifonics... idk about .33 ohm seems very low for a daily...

a new alt is on the list to do, i do have the big 3 and 2 batteries, lights dont dim to bad, b4 the 2nd battery was added my meter was reading that i was pullin up to 160 amps from my battery

stays above 13 driving, at idle drops into the low 12's , maybe high 11's if it idles for a while bangin, that cheap hifonics is a beast its killin 3 cvx's

i dont like anything in the 11's personally, some amps are ok but ive seen a few that arent if you know what i mean.
