NGSM, I was looking more for the answers that I actually got...as in ditch the 8's and go with the 10 or 12 w7....although I have owned car stereo's in the past, I never took the time to analyze the exact soundstaging and everything, especially not sound cancellation from multiple subs...and I was never good at physics....

and ok, so i may have taken booker's response in the wrong way, but that happens all the time on forums...my b.

I think you should ditch the 8's, go with the 10W7... but to conserve space i'd do a fiberglass box... i can get you a mass produced custom box that sits over the battery tray in that vehicle built for a 10w7

What I mean is that it couldn't be expensive for an M3, such a nice 'n expensive car deserve a nice 'n expensive system.
