How would this system sound?

This will be in a 2004 BMW M3:

Alpine IVA-D310

JL Audio 450.4 powering Boston Z5 series in front, and 2 JL 8" Stealthboxes in rear

JL Audio 500.1 powering 1 JL 10W7 in trunk

Is this going to be too bass heavy? What are some opinions? Any possible improvements?

Also, would I need a Cap?

dont run 2 8" subs and a 10" sub...cancellation issues like mad....either go stealth with the 8's or go big with the w7....

personally id do the w7....

do a big 3 upgrade, get a highout put alternator, and then a new battery....

Do the w7, ditch the 8"s, dont waste money on a cap. Enjoy what will be a **** nice sounding setup.

no cap, run the w7. dont mix and match sub sizes, you'll get all sorts of acoustical nightmares.

Thanks for the replies....yeah that is what I was worried about with the 8"s....I was originally going to just do the 8"s but then I got to thinking that it might not be enough bass for me.

Next, if you were to do alternator and battery, what kinds would you use? I thought I remembered that the optima yellow tops were the best back in the day, is this still true? And do you have any warranty issues with replacing an alternator?

yellow or red tops are good...

motor city reman, iraggi, excessive amperage...all good alternators
