How would this system be?

Im thinking about running 2 Alpine 12" Type-R's on either a JBL 1200.1, or a Avionixx NXD 2400M -- http://www.avionixx.com/nxd.html .. I get the avionixx brand new at a local shop for close to nothing, and a full warranty..I was going to get 2 dual 4's and wire them down to 1ohm, so im looking at about 500wrms (which is what the rms of the type-r's is)..How do you think this would sound coming off a 15" XXX with 2000wrms ran to it? And do you recommend a ported or sealed box for the type-rs?

edit-- or should i go with a 15" l7 dual4 and find an amp for that and run it like 700wrms at 2ohms
