500X2 would be too much for almost any comps. Of course you'd also have the flexibility to run 2 channels to tweets and 2 to mids and cross over with the amp. You'll be running at a friendlier impecence load and have a bit more controll.

hmm if thats the case, id rather just pick out a 2 channel amp that will do 250x2 @4, price really doesnt bother me as you can probably tell, ive been saving up for a while, max overall budget including wiring and deadening is around 2000

found an amp that will do 250x2 @4ohms http://www.woofersetc.com/p6029/ZRS2002--Cadence-800-Watt-2-Ch-Competition-Amplifier.htm, is that a good amp? ive heard cadence makes good amps i just dont know high end their ZRS series is.
