how to wire and will this work?

well my RF450.4 has gone off to that big amp yard in the sky and I will be's getting 2 RF400.4's Wednesday. as some might know I had 4 6x9's 2 4x6 plates and 4 tweeters on it and, well, it couldn't take it. so I'm gonna run my 4 tweeters of 1 400.4 and the rest of the speakers of the other. will this be better and how hould wire then together? some one pm'd me and asked about my setup well all my component speakers are Infinity and I have 4 Diamond Audio D9's running of a RFt30001db 2 red top optima's RF wiring and a jensen 9411 hu. oh and thanks for that big info cause it rally worked!!

Well, it's my understanding that tweeters don't need as much power as midrange or full range speakers, so you should probably put the tweeters on 2 channels of 1 of the amps. The other 2 channels for the 2 4x6's, and the other amp for the 4 6x9's.
