how to wire amp to 1ohm?

You wire the subs to 1 ohm, not the amp to 1 ohm. What subs are they and what is the voice coil configuration? What amp is it?

i find that picture to be quite helpful... it actually attempts to teach the reason why it is at 4,2,1 ohm instead of just sayin do this
