Amp power wire.

Got my aftermarket head unit and speakers installed and running. Getting ready to run the power and ground wire for sub amp. Ground wire not a problem being as it will be a somewhere in the trunk.... My problem is I see no unused grommets or anywhere actually to run the 12 volt wire to the battery from the interior of the car. It's a 93 Buick regal sedan by the way. And I don't want to run it in between the door jamb.

You can drill a new hole (use a grommet). Otherwise I've punched thru existing grommets and resealed the gommet with silicon.
How hard is it to drill through the firewall though? Only other thing I see is a couple of wiring harnesses it has a little bit of rubber around them but connection itself is plastic.

There should be one behind the brake booster

OK. You may find a fuse block under the rear seat cushion that you can tap into. My 99 Park Ave had one there. My Caddy does too, and attaching a lug to the feed terminal is simple:

On one install I did I ran the wire from the front fuse block, under the car and up through a grommeted hole under the rear seat. Wire was protected by a plastic loom and loosely tie-wrapped to the brake lines. I did this because the firewall seemed to be made of stone and was impossible to drill through. An 8 gage wire will do it for your needs.

Drill through the firewall and make sure you use a grommet. Don't jack around and cut corners. Running the power wire is the most important part to the system, when it comes to safety. If you go through a boot, the boot will leak when it rains. Go through the door jamb can damage the wire and light your car on fire.

If you're not comfortable doing that, throw an installer $10-$20 to drill it and slap in a grommet for you.
