how to set gain , lowpass , high and frequency

Try using the amp's crossover if you need to high pass the sub. What box would you be using? If you are using sealed you don't need to use the high pass. If ported, set the high pass 1/2 an octave below the box tuning(or 20hz, thats what I always did). Low pass should be anywhere between 50-100hz, you figure out what sounds best.
