How to run two amps

Also if your HU does not have front/rear/sub outputs you will need to get a xover/line driver or something to split the signals out to the amps.. Also do not link amps from amp to amp with RCA's

On your main power wire as close to the battery as possible i'd run a 250-300 amp fuse.. then fuse it again by the amp depending on the size of the amps could be from 50amp to 300amp fuses.. on the alternator to battery wire 300-400amp fuse..

So i should have a 300 amp fuse by the battery and then 300 amp fuse right before i plug into the amp and then another 300 amp from my big 3 alt to battery correct? also what about if im getting to additaional xs power d3100s

Put a 300amp fuse at the battery from the alternator... Put a 300 amp fuse at the battery for the wire to the trunk.. put a 250 amp fuse at the amp.. when you upgrade just move it to a 300 amp fuse at the amp.. still run a fuse between the new battery also and amps. and from the wires at the battery to battery connections.. for your front/rear stage amp.. 100 amps should be fine unless you running big amps.. I have a 100 amp fuse on my aq1200.1 and a 30 amp fuse at the zapco 350.2 .. 150amp from the battery

you only need one fuse and thats the positive run to the trunk. and with the 3500 it does more than 3500 i'd get a 400-450amp fuse. otherwise 250 for the aq 2200.

also, the fuse should be close to the battery, somewhere inside the hood compartment.
