How to run sub amp at 1 ohm?

I have an autotek 1700 sx and 2 Boston Pro 12.5LF's (2 ohm). Do I run them in parallel and bridge the amp or do I hook both of them up to separate channels? Thanks for your help.

that will depend if your 2 channel amp is capable of 1 ohm stable birdged, off hand, its is very very likely that it isn't and as long as its capable of running 2ohm off each channel that you will have to go that route

running them in parallel would present a 0.5 ohm impedence. assuming this is a 2 channel wiring them each to a channel would make a 1 or 4 ohm load and running them both at 2 ohms to a bridged 2 channel may not work as a lot of 2 channels are not 2 ohm stable bridged
