what all can you do with multi meter

i just bought a multi meter so i could tune amp output, im having trouble find out which mode on this unit will do what i need.

this was talked about in another thread under subwoofers but im not getting much help and i really just wana get it done and workin.

my other question is what else can this little device be used for in the audio world, i have alredy found it can check your ohm load but what else can it do?

checking Continuity is probably the most i use mine for..... and or voltage. etc.

voltage, resistance, continuity, most won't handle the current in car audio applications, though.

setting your gains is probably one of the greatest benefits:

If you hold the probe terminals 3 feet above your head you can pick up red sox games
