how to replace subwoofer in existing box?

My Kickers be swaggin'
I finally was able to come up with the money to professionally have all my equipment installed because I was having a lot of technical problems.everything was going great without a hitch until today I got in my vehicle to see my subwoofer had been eaten thr rubber surround. my dogs have the tendency to climb through my windows and eat my cords.. I found a replacement subwoofer on Amazon for 55 bucks. It's the same subwoofer I have a kicker 10 inch comp 4 ohm single voice coil in a ported truck box it all came together when I originally bought it. What do I have to do to replace the subwoofer? Since I already have the box.

Seems absolutely simple. One problem, I've already began taking the subwoofer out of the box I've got it all unscrewed the front and back panel the metal piece and it will not come out at all. Will I need to save the cotton cushioning that's in the box?

My advice is to go on YouTube and type in HOW TO REMOVE SUBWOOFER FROM ENCLOSURE or something like that. You should only need to unscrew the screws around the sub and pull it out of the box and unhook the wires from the back of it. Nothing more. Unless you need to give more info on what box type you have.
