How to install.

So I have a 94 Mitsubishi 3000gt. It has one 4" opening, but when I look around for a mounting bracket to put with my avic d3 crutchfield says that the HU won't fit? Shouldn't the d3 fit, I'm confused.

Any input is appreciated,
