how to hook up dual alt's

so many people tell me so many thing around here i just need to know the proper way . do i run 1 volt reg to both ? cause they have ext regs ? 1 is 200 amp and one is mechman they told me i needed 500 dollar wire harness . i need help seems a bit much ?

d@mn 500 for a harness there has to be another way, have you tried asking over on smd he ran multiple alts on a lot of things he built maybe he can point you in the right direction.

no i was just going to hook it up and see but thought give this a try someone must know ??

You don't need a $500 harness. To make this function properly you will need regulators that are compatible with our adjustable voltage module OR convert to external regulation.

With the adjustable harness you run internal regulators in each unit that are adjusted by the common harness. This will cost about $200 to convert your unit to our regulator and for the custom harness to be built.

With an external regulator you only run one regulator for both units and both units will need to be converted to function with the external setup. This will cost about $250 to install the necessary parts and provide the regulator.
