how to get a channel repaired?

is there anyway to repair the messed up channel of my amp????

if I can i'd rather do that than buy a new one..

whatever you do stay away from K&B Audio.... you'll never see your amp again with them.

depends on how nice of an amp it is.....if its a sony xplode find the nearest dumpster for it.....either that or you now have a new center channel amp //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

jl 300.4...blown channel, dunno if it has any other probs...most likely not.

I really don't know...it all started when a speaker of my stopped working (rear driver side)..so I just thought it was a loose wire...went over to the shop, and he switched the RCA's and the speaker worked fine..they told me there was a bad channel...that's all i know.

I was just wondering, because I'm running one of those amps as well. (The 300/4) How high were your gains set?

if thats the filter freq. then the rear is 130 and the front is 90

switch the opposite channel and see if it works. He prob did this but ya never know.

if it does work then its prob bad rca.

it could be some stupid internal connection failure of the rca jack, you never know... but if it is something wrong with the channel bet that the FET's are about $6 each and about $40 an hour to get someone to put them in as a replacement.

i wired it so that the rear speaker that previously hadnt worked before plays..and it has this weird crackling noise.. what is that?
