Hah, leads me to another thing thats wrong with my car.
Last summer my key would get stuck in the ignition, and after some fuss it would come out. It progressively got worse to the point where I couldn't get it out (and for those few days, I actually had to pop the hood and undo the neg bat terminal everywhere I went, and carry a spare key to unlock the doors... talk about ghetto), anyway... We found that there was a bypass in the steering column (in case this happened), that you had to push in to get the key out... Anyway, the pontiac dealer wanted $55 for the switch that went bad (leading to this), so we just zip tied the little bypass button down now.
I can actually take the key all the way out in drive (locks the wheel though still, so its a bit dangerous.... lol), but I don't recommend.
I'm done making fun of myself and my car now... proceed to putting this in your sigs and laughing...haha
