How to determine what my speaker box vlume should be?

I have a design drawn up for the center console of my truck between the front 2 seats. How do i determine how big it needs to be?

My box is:

Length: 33"

width:12"

height: 12"

I plan on using 2 10's. Here are the specs:

Power Handling:

Peak: 1200 watts

RMS: 600 watts

High-temp dual 2 ohm voice coil

Frequency response: 24-100 Hz

Sensitivity: 87 dB

I dont think youd be able to fit 2 10s in a center console, unless they are in a tiny box or used as an isobaric setup. 8s would be a better choice.

33x12x12 is 2.009 cubic feet to work with assuming .75in for the walls. So I guess sealed would work, but sealed boxes are such a waste of potential IMO.

Ive drawn out the designs already, I can fit 2 10's in there=) Its an 03 f250. I have 14.5 inches to work worth but the box will only be 12" wide and high.. SO 2 10's will work perfect.

They are the kicker l7 10" square kickers.

I have an image of the side layout of my design.View attachment 26529932View attachment 26529933

The 2nd image is what its somewhat going to look like

It will be a sealed box, Id love to have a ported box but would need some help on where to put it and how and what not.

I have the MDF wood already, 3/4 thick. And i have the materials to build it.

Would like to start building this weekend but dont see that happening=/

If you guys could help me do a ported box, that would be great!

Now in the design the subs will be next to each other. What do you think about putting one up top and the other right below it facing down?

As much as i appreciate the comment, i really would like to have 2=) Ive had one of these before and now id like to make a custom system and really go all out=)
A single one of those 10s ported would more than likely sound better and get louder than 2 of them sealed. I honestly would not run L7s sealed.

Well Id really like to have 2 10's ported.

Ive had one 10" L7 posted kicker before in a mustang i use to own and wow was it loud and had great quality sound.

Id really like to have 2 L7 10" kickers now.

So Maybe what i should do is have one above the other sub and have a post in front of them coming out of the sides? what about that?
