How to beat 2 JL W7's

hey guys a buddy of mine just got 2 w7s in his explore and it slams, i can hear him a mile away and it shakes the windows in my house when he pulls in, i really like the sound of the subs and want a system like it but i cant aford it the way he did, is there anything else out there i could throw together that would match up to his system or even be bigger?

this is where the problem is, i should probly wait to get this new system cuz right now im in the middle of a boat project and i need to just put the componets in it and then i can save the rest for the system, but im thinking about saveing the rest of the boat system for next summer, everyone is telling me to finish the boat and finish what i started then get the system? so after that idk how much i will spend, its not going to happen for atleast a year yet so i have some money to save but i dont wana drop 3 grand like this kid did, so i dont know what would it take?

yeah i see...well my 3 JL 12's slam too...but to beat JL get some...humm..yeah whats ur budget??...what kinda car?? i would try some XXX's...not sure explorers all together slam hard

go with some dd 9515's if you have the space and the right power. you should be able to dump on him

love that idea...2 DD 9515's and a hifonics amp...you would need a maxximus to power some 9515's...humm..maybe like a i dunno what kinda amp..gotta be big tho.

digital design 9515 a bit expensive but im sure in the right enclosure hands down will murder the W7's.

I beleive even the SX's of the RE line will take the W7's, uve got plenty of options here depends on how much u got to spend on the subs and amp

i had a wagon once with 4 15's in it...but not an escort..it was a big V8 monster...anyway...get some money together an get a honda CRX for about 2000 or so a nice one and you will be doing 155's in it..with right help from these guys here

yes it will be matter a fact typerbass jus got his 2500d i guess to power all four of his 9515's,

i say get the 2500d good a good electrical system and wire those subs to .5 ohm on that amp, and ur friend will piss in his pants and be pissed that he spent his money on JL's not to say there bad
