How to beat 2 JL W7's

digital design 9515 a bit expensive but im sure in the right enclosure hands down will murder the W7's.
I beleive even the SX's of the RE line will take the W7's, uve got plenty of options here depends on how much u got to spend on the subs and amp

the W7 is a good woofer despite what people might say about it.

treo ssx's or a pair of dd 3515's will even get er done.

R u serious, how were they both tested, sealed or ported. Did they share the same box head to head and what kind of power was thrown at them

you can find a MT 18 used for 3-400ish, try and get dual 1.4 and get a orion hcca5000 or 2500d or any other amp that does around 2500ish rms @1ohm or somewhere close

ive heard a W7 when they first came out yea they got lud and clean but i may see a W7 overcoming a SX if i recolect correctly

Everything mentioned will break your $900 budget. Also, the amps mentioned require electrical upgrade to the vehicle that will cost another $500+. Your friend got loud by paying out the *** for it, and I dont see you getting loud without doing just that (with the mininal amount of knowledge you have about the sport.)

you could get close with money for subs/amps with a MT18 and a 2500rms amp

yeh its not my car so my dad would not let me go and get all the electrical worked over in it, so is there anything i could put together that would only take like a new alternator or something simple?

well it sounds like im gona have to save some money and get my own car, so i will probly end up posting this again when im ready , but right now i can get an idea of what to get, and maybe buy them piece by piece
